I’m a Boston-area foodie originally from Milwaukee, Wis. By day, I’m the Integrated Communications Manager for a health system and have also worked as a non-profit fundraising and strategy consultant. I just started a new adventure in going back to grad school to earn my Master’s in Public Health, focusing on women’s health disparities and mental health needs in communities. I’m a social media geek, Disney lover, former journalist and radio producer. I’m a nerd of too many fandoms to mention and love a night of karaoke and good friends.

My passion is eating around the country (and eventually the world). I want to share my food findings through my other passion – writing.  I love just about anything that hits my plate and belly. I love to cook just about any type of cuisine but most often you’ll find me in my tiny kitchen baking some new sugary concoction or tending to my sourdough starter, Duncan McTavish Finnell.

This blog is a mixture of my tales in the kitchen, experiences on the road and a few surprise visits every now and again from some friendly guest posters who kindly share their opinions, too.
